World of Warships Critical Error Unable to Install Updates the Application Cannot Continue

Was on World of Tanks (NA Central server) and was kicked off for server maintenance. I closed WoT and reopened it after about 5 minutes and the launcher began to update. Around when the update seemed to finish, the launcher stopped and gave this message:

UPDATING GAME CLIENT:

Critical error.

Unable to install updates.

The application cannot continue.

For details, see log file.

I've got no clue what anything in the log file meant. Just wondering if this may be an issue that others are seeing at the moment.

Edit: It seems that there's supposed to be some micropatch happening at the moment from 1AM to 2AM PST. Hopefully, that may be the reason for this problem since it isn't 2AM for me yet. 10 more minutes until 2AM for me.

Edit 2: It is now 2:13AM and the launcher still refuses to work.

Edit 3: By using the guide posted by the user itsJylerTAG, the issues are now gone. Now it's time for me to figure out where the "Achievements" are so I can get my T-50-2.

I'm having the same issue.

EDIT: Tried re-downloading the client and got the same issue.

Alright i found a solution to the problem i was having so i'll post the steps below in the event it might help someone else.

Step #1: Close down the WoT Launcher and the Wargaming Client.

Step #2: Go to the folder where World Of Tanks was installed.

Step #3: Find the folder called "UpdateData", open it and delete all the files inside of it.

Step #4: Restart your computer.

Step #5: Once your computer has been restarted, launch the WoT Launcher and it should update normally.

Note: I found this solution on the world of warships forums and i tried it, it did solve the issue for me but mileage may vary for others.

this patch and last patch... same issue.  And, prior to that, had the orig install from 2012.    Uninstalling and a reinstall works, and doesnt take to long on my potato (maybe an hour) .
